AIRBAG SYSTEM E2

The new E2 is the worthy successor of the famous E1; more compact, lighter, new LCD display, new deflation button, new electronic pressure relief valve, so many new features that make it the leader of the electric airbag market.

COMPACT AND LEIGHTWEIGHT
Full system weight
1140g
Airbag volume 162L

The new E2 is 40% more compact than its predecessor the E1 and 140g lighter, despite a  larger 162 liters airbag.

MAXIMUM AUTONOMY
Up to 3 month autonomy without recharging your airbag

Two new, hight-quality AA alkaline or lithium batteries give the airbag an autonomy of up to 3 months (after recharging the supercapacitors via USB-C). Your E2 airbag is ready to work all winter long, always ready to hit the slopes.

SUPERCAPACITOR
TECHNOLOGY
Same performance
from -30°C to +50°C

More performance with supercapacitors:

  • Supercapacitors are able of store electrical energy without any chemical reaction (unlike lithium-ion or lithium-poly batteries) and are thus not sensitive to lower temperatures meaning you get the same performance from -30°C to +50°C.

  • Supercapacitors are also lighter than “traditional” lithium-ion or lithium-poly batteries

LCD DISPLAY
& LED

LCD display to check supercapacitors charge level and AA batteries energy level.

LED lights visible from the outside of the bag indicate the status and charge level of the E2 system.

RECHARGE WITH USB-C
OR RECHARGE WITH 2 AA BATTERIES

The E2 supercapacitors can be recharged with USB-C or with the two AA batteries.

You can practice inflating the airbag very easily and without the hassle of replacing cartridges.

PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE

The pressure relief valve is a solenoid-type electric valve and is activated 3 minutes after the end of inflation.

The purpose of this valve is to decrease the pressure of the airbag in order to reduce the stress on the seams and fabric of the airbag, ensuring a longer lifespan inflation after inflation.

DEFLATION KNOB

The airbag is deflated using the orange button on the side of the E2 and accessible from the outside of the backpack.

Once the airbag is deflated, the safety cover automatically closes to lock the deflation button.

FLYING WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS
Without cartridges
Without Li-Ion batteries

Supercapacitors are passive electronic elements and are not subject to any restrictions for transport, shipping or storage. Finally, THE solution for flying without restrictions and difficulties.

HIGH INFLATION PRESSURE
THANKS TO THE RADIAL COMPRESSOR

The E2 uses a radial compressor, similar to turbo compressors found in the automotive industry.

This design allows for high-speed airflow and inflation pressure equivalent to cartridge avalanche airbag systems.

AUTO-TEST

Each time the E2 system is turned on, it performs an auto-test to verify that the motor, supercapacitors and electronics are functioning properly.

SWISS TECHNOLOGY

Our airbag systems are fully designed in Switzerland. The electronic circuit is manufactured and tested in Switzerland as well.

The E2 system is certified following the norm EN16716 and is certified for 100 inflations.

We guarantee impeccable quality, for a safe product.
